CUENCA PROVINCIAL HOSTEL - LES INVISIBLES
CHOCO & KRISPY
CHOCO is a beautiful chocolate-colored podenco with shiny fur almost 4 years old; he has two at the Cuenca Provincial Animal Shelter. He walked in with his brother Krispy; a hunter got rid of them. KRISPY looks like a desert fox. He's a sandy coloured pod, a little shy due to his rough past.
At first they were very afraid, they didn't let themselves be touched. This has improved in the years they have been at the hostel. Krispy is the most unsuspecting of the two brothers. He doesn't bite, but he does keep his distance, he is precautious.
Therefore, whoever decides to adopt them as part of their family, will have to have patience and respect their needs and rhythms.
Two years in a shelter is too long living in a kennel, plus the stress of being in that environment. They need a home where they can have a beautiful and kinder life than they have known so far.
