This podenca survived the streets whilst carrying her back legs behind her every single day... we are hoping to change her future for the better. We still have some tests to go & specialists to see but we will get the best advice for her. She's adorable & survived like a champion

The little Podenca that has no knee caps is now called Wiggles. We love that name, it really suits her as she was wiggling down the streets just doing her own thing. Wiggling in & out of bars doing her own thing. Wiggling across busy roads doing her own thing. She’s a wiggle pants. Welcome Wiggles

Podenca Karina waiting forever - is she for you?

'A couple of months ago I asked for your help for Karina. After many enquiries for her an adoption was agreed, but sadly the family have decided not to proceed.

Karina was handed over by her hunter, the reason he gave, she does not want to hunt only wants to look after her daughter so is no use to me. She has been in the rescue for 2 years and no interest in her.

Six years old and 23 kilos, she would be happy to be an only dog or possibly with with another female that is sensitive and calm and she is good with smaller dogs. Sadly she has been attacked by male dogs due to her very gentle nature. Pepa tells me she is very faithful to people quiet and calm, she loves to go out for walks.

Probiotics and dogs

We recently returned from a few days away in our caravan and took the 2 podencos with us, for the first time. A week before Bo had asmall cancerous lump removed and had been on antibiotics which gave him diahorea, so a chicken and rice diet was prescribed. However, after returning home to familiar territory his poo is brown/yellow and gooey. Research on the Internet has resulted in the suggestion to add some probiotics to his diet.

The Princess of the sad look, has lost all hope of getting out of there without just being given a chance, just one..

This beautiful Princess, sweet, cheerful, salty, tender is KELLY, one more Podenca, of the thousands and thousands that are in the Refuges, Protectoras and Perreras, that fall the FORGETTING forever.

The Princess of the SAD look, very sad, does not play anymore, just likes to be on top of her house And so to see her "life" through " the bars of the kennel, she has no hope of getting out of there - she'sbeen there 2 years!

KELLY is in Campillos (Malaga), but can travel. She arrived with a major injury on her back leg but today she's fully recovered.
