'Timo ... I need your help to find him his forever sofa
He has been with us for a long time ..years, he was adopted twice once to the UK (it didnt work out for him ). Then later to Spain but a change of circumstances with his family meant he came back ..
To be honest I kind of lost my confidence about rehoming him I was worried it wouldnt work out for him and whilst at the finca he had a great life, plenty of dogs for him to play with lots of space to run around .. But when I had my accident last summer which I didnt make a big fuss about, but I was struggling and needed crutches to walk for some time. When I moved from the finca I wasnt able to walk him, so I had to put him into a residence where he has been there for some months.
I really want him to have his forever sofa, he a brilliant dog so loving, a great sense of humour easy going. He has lived in a house with children, loves to give hugs, and snuggle up to you on the sofa.
I have always maintained he can only be rehomed with female dogs. I was looking back at photos and videos of him and see he was never a problem with the male dogs here.. He took Luca under his wing: But he was pushy with a couple of the male dogs which never resulted in a fight but after that, to prevent a problem he was only allowed out unsupervised with the girls.. I can tell you they would give him a hard time and he just put up with it . I took him on marches with Midas he would be surrounded by 100s of dogs and never put a paw wrong ..
Timo has just turned 9 years old, he had surgery to both patellas and he would need supplements to help his joints.
What would be an ideal home for Timo?
Ideally someone with experience of Podenco Ibicencos/ ibizan hounds , That can take him for plenty of walks and a garden big enough for him to play in . Another female dog or more than one for him to have someone to play with. I think he would be ok has an only dog so long has he is not left home alone for long hours..
No cats though .. he is 26 kilos and 72 cm to the shoulder .. for further information or to adopt please email: [email protected]
