Salva un podenco Gran Canaria - desperate for a forever home -

The only hope for the Canary Islands podencos for forever homes is on mainland Europe or across the Atlantic. Please share this little beauty or even adopt her if you have room in your home and heart for her. So deserving.

'KARIN. She's been with us since a puppy, we picked her up about three months and she had canine parvovirosis.
She finally recovered and has grown up in several foster homes. She is eleven months old and is still looking for a family for the rest of her life.

She is sociable with people and dogs, with cats we don't know. Active, playful and loves walks.

Ideal would be a family with some other dogs and no small children as she is boisterous playing with them.

Spanish shelters - Zero killing

Great news. But that means even more dogs in shelters! Now Spain needs a law for compulsory neutering of dogs and cats and handcuffing the hunters for overbreeding.

Akira Dog Santuary - Podenco Charlie still waiting for a forever home

Charlie was brought to the shelter in a terrible condition. He was so skinny and he was so depressed he had almost given up just sitting and not moving or eating. The team persevered with him to give him all he needed and slowly he relaxed enough to start eating. Charlie is still a little underweight but he is starting to gain and it continue at a healthy pace.

Found little white podenca dog with cinnamon spots. She's full of parasites, very thin and scared to death. She got into a field but the owner doesn't want her there and is going to dump her. Not picked up
