'its not good news for Pinto
The scan revealed two masses one is the lymph node and a second much bigger one which is not regular in shape. They took biopsies to be sent to the labs so we wait to hear, but we think the worse, that it is cancer. The scan showed the bigger mass is maybe attached to the main artery so it would not possible to operate and would need to a MRI to confirm this.
This morning my vets were surprised to hear Pinto is 14 years old. They thought he was a lot younger and commented what wonderful condition he is in he was alert and bright, his heart and lungs strong. For the moment they have sent him home with medication until we get the lab results they can do no more.
I am so upset, today I broke down in tears at my vets why Pinto ?
He is such a sweet gentle natured boy he reminds me so much of my Midas. He is so happy and recently he has become so much more attached to me following me round the paddocks nudging for treats. I find so hard to understand when a dog like him that has suffered for so long, finally finds a place of comfort and love, may not have much time left.
I want to thank my vets Eduardos pets they were busy today with surgeries but did not keep us waiting. They asked me to come straight through, examined him and he was sedated to do his scan and take the biopsies.
So all I can do now is wait for the results and maybe we can help him .. I hope so
Lieverd ik bid voor je dat je nog een gelukkig leven zal hebben . Heel veel liefs
