'15th May 2020. This young podenco is a typical example of severe animal neglect/abuse and terrible suffering of many dogs in Spain. Sunday must have been his lucky day, his guardian angel Susana crossed his path. He was taken to the vet for a check up, he received tick and flea treatment, lab blood test and some X-rays were taken also. Probably he is around 3 years young.
He is safe now and will receive all necessary care and love.
We would like to thank HAA for the support of the medical costs and of course Susana who did not hesitate and took this boy home.
Felix still has a long way to go, but he hasn’t do it alone anymore. Together we will fight back and in a few weeks we will see a beautiful young podenco.
I know what it is to be born and live as a podenco in Spain, a life full of fear, hunger, neglect, abuse,...
Usually followed to be murdered in the most horrifying way possible.
I was lucky that Susana and Richard were in the right place at the right moment and saved me from starvation.
I now experience a completely different life.
I am safe now, but please don’t forget that there are still many thousands of Felixes who don’t have this luck.
I want to say thanks to those who support me and give me a life every stray deserve.
Felix has his own facebook page on this weblink
