It's a very hard life on the streets for a podenca puppy. I received an appeal for help for this little one on the streets in a village in Jerez, Cadiz. Stoned by local children, on heat, the 2 volunteers trying to catch her couldn't take her into their homes as they have male dogs! Luckily through appealing widely on facebook, I've had the news that she is rescued and safe.

I'm glad she's safe, little beauty. Children stoning her? How disgusting that the parents think this is an acceptable way for a child to behave. Then these kids grow into abusive adults. Shame on them.
