When I was at the PAES conference in Murcia in October 2015, I met some lovely ladies from the Axarquia Animal Shelter in Malaga. They have several podencos amongst the dozens of hounds they have in their care. Please get in touch with them direct if you can offer a place in your home and heart for one of them.

Just had a look at the website, beautiful dogs on there. I think the lovely Cracker may be a podenco too or part podenco with those ears! He's a lovely little chap. Real admiration for these ladies helping the dogs get homes. Can't adopt at the moment but will make a donation in the next few weeks.
