Two podencos, one born blind, one going blind. They desperately need understanding forever homes. Please take a look at them.
Pocoyo - a gentle boy who is losing his sight and likely to be completely blind soon urgently needs a loving home. Pocoyo is about aged 5 and a really sweet boy but has been stuck in a residencia in Sevilla for a couple of years after being saved from the perrera.
As he loses his sight life in an overcrowded refuge is getting increasingly bewildering for him. If we can help him then it also frees up his place in the residencia for another podenco on death row. If you can help please get in touch with Polly, who has more information, photos and videos of Pocoyo.
If someone feels drawn to help blind pods have a quiet secure happy future there is a girl pod too needing help - beautiful Brianna. What a sweet pair to have together if you have a secure garden, a soft sofa and a big heart! They can play and snuggle together safely.
Elaine says. This is Brianna she is a podenco and born blind. She is roughly 5/6 months old. Rescued in Ciudad Real as the owner a hunter was going to kill her.
She is here with me in foster and gradually realising she is safe and loved. Finding her way around, coming up for a stroke and a cuddle. Gradually getting used my gang of ruffians, difficult bless when she can't see them .
Blind dog rescue uk are searching for a home. Sadly they have many blind dogs needing a home. Therefore I am sharing to see if I can find a lovely family for her here in Spain. She is chipped vaccinated has her passport and leish negative. Not been spayed yet as was too young. Contact Elaine.

They are both absolutely beautiful. Feel frustrated as I'm not in a position to adopt at the moment. I hope that they find homes soon. I hope that potential adopters know that being blind just makes them extra special. These lovely dogs can have a full life and deserve a loving home with every comfort - bless them.
