From TARA association on Gran Canaria. You can see that being in the shelter for so long is taking its toll on Lex, no matter the good care the volunteers take of him. He's spent half his young life in a shelter. He needs to be in a forever home away from the stress of shelter life.
'LEX-LOOKING FOR A HOME- When Lex was found wandering we knew he had an owner, but due to the fact he was not microchipped we could not return him to his home. Lex has been with us in kennels for 18 months and has now become the longest dog to be without a home.
LEX is playful, funny, responsive, good in the car, brilliant with other dogs, but because he is a podenco, nobody want's him. He is 3 years old, chipped, castrated and vaccinated. We have appealed all over the world for a home for Lex, but nothing.
We need your help, or Lex will spend the rest of his life in kennels. Please share this, and help to get Lex a home of his own.'
Contact TARA direct if you can give Lex the home he deserves.
UPDATE- There is an offer from a podenco group in the US to take him if we can get him a foster in Germany or Spain in the meantime, to prepare him. Please contact Louise at TARA if you can help.
hope he gets sorted
