Podenca Andaluz come in 3 sizes, small, medium and large. My podenca Bebe is a miniature - weighing in at a mere 6 kilos aged 10 years. She was rescued injured and traumatized from a Seville motorway over 4 years ago by my friend Marisa, a volunteer with El Refugio Escuela. My vet operated on her leg and saved it and she is now the fastest little dynamite on 4 legs! The only time we see a handicap with her leg is when she goes down stairs - she carries her left leg. You can see the scars on her hind quarters where the hair has never grown back. Adorable little dog! Here on video at lunchtime. Scrounging, not me! Nudging your leg to remind you I'm here - not me!

Yes, she is tiny, only 6kgs. And really cute - until she is guarding a chewstick! Then woe betide any galgo that thinks they can pinch it!
