Motril, Spain - please sign the petition to protest about shooting dogs

Here is the story about this poor podenca. She didn't survive - somewhere in the area there is another one, shot and injured.

This is a translation of the story as posted by a lady who tried to help save the podenca. This happened In Motril in Southern Spain a podenco wandered in to a finca looking for food Her punishment, she was shot in the head, leg and chest and lost her life. I found this soul destroying.

It takes hundreds of hours and support from people around the world to secure a safe and loving home for a rescued dog.

This beautiful Podenco's life was ended at the squeeze of a trigger.

The Podencos are a specific breed targeted by a particular group some with no moral compass, who have no respect for these magnificent creatures.

It was reported the person responsible for this heinous act has no remorse for what he has done. To the contrary he says he has permission to kill dogs in Motril and already killed others.

You can find Podencos offered on second hand sites in exchange for mobile phones, car parts sometimes its just too much to bear. I never believed that I would have witnessed such terrible acts of cruelty I have in the last two years, at times it can break your spirit. RIP sweet one you are with the angels now, no more pain or fear.

Signed, another disgrace! There is certainly a big problem when shooting an innocent dog is deemed perfectly acceptable by this sick individual. Quite correctly it states that this individual has no moral comapss whatsoever.
