Podenca murdered in Motril - the citizens of Granada protest

So many of the Spanish hate the treatment of hunting dogs by the galgueros and gitanos and here is another example of the outrage they feel. Podenca murdered in Motril

We want justice and that our complaint does not fall on deaf ears. For this reason, have organized a protest at the gates of the Government delegation in Granada on Saturday 25 May at 12 in the morning.

Governments should be aware that the citizens are outraged with the abuse and death of this podenquita. Some people have given to the podenquita the name "Podi", that she does not fall into oblivion after her murder and for her to be remembered.

Friday, May 3, according to members of a protectora of the town of Motril, they received a call from neighbors when they heard shots and saw the dog running bloody. A volunteer with the protectora, who lives in a nearby farmhouse, moved immediately to take the hound to a veterinary clinic aided by neighbors.

The outcome of this story has been terrible: the podenquita ended up dying in the Veterinary Clinic because there was nothing more to do to save her.
