This is an urgent appeal for someone to take in this beautiful young podenca. She is in Anna, near Xativa in the Province of Valencia. This is the story from the lady who wants to save her.
'I have been feeding her since October. I live in Anna which is about 20 minutes from Xativa. I have contacted PEPA and she is on their website but they have nowhere for her to go. I have also contacted SOS Galgos. No one seems able to help.
She has a problem with her leg and she will need an operation which I would be happy to pay for. I do not want to remove her until I have somewhere for her to go.
About 4 weeks ago a male puppy catalan sheepdog turned up. I have somewhere for him to go, but he has given the podenco confidence to come to me, so again I do not want to remove him until I have somewhere for her to go.
She is a beauty and she is really nice, she had 3 puppies which are being looked after in different homes until they can be re homed, when my friends and I caught the puppies, we were unable to get near her and we had no where for her to go.
There is the Protectora near me but they will only take healthy dogs and they will not take podenco's. Please can anyone help, as I can't take her in.'
If anyone can help, please email Rosemary.
please share this appeal from Podenco Post. Thankyou
