Look at this fabulous podenco, and no one has asked for him! He's hoping he might have a forever home for his Christmas present. Here's his story from Tina at Galgos del Sol.
Caramello, originally called Naranja, was living rough and very underweight. Local residents were feeding him until we could get to him. Although fairly easy to catch, getting him into the car to take to the vets was a different matter, he was so frightened.
He is approx 18mths old, negative for leishmania, filaria, babesia and erlchia. He is fully vaccined and castrated. Caramello is fairly timid with new people but soon comes around. He is playful with other dogs and quite obedient with those he trusts. He will make the most fantastic loyal companion, he just needs a chance.
He has come on so much with his confidence now but still waitimg for his forever home to come along. How much longer will Caramello have to wait?'
If you can be his forever angel, contact Tina.
Lovely podenco

Does he have a pet passport?
Posted by: Chris Allen | 06 November 2011 at 09:57 PM
Hi Chris, he could travel to the UK in January 2012. When we found him there was no point us doing the UK pet passport as by the time the 6mths was up the new law will be in place where the pet passport (blood tests) are no longer needed. Many Thanks, Tina - galgosdelsol@hotmail.com

Hi Tina, Thanks for reply, I may have some interest here in UK, and could certainly foster him until the people are ready to take him. (of course,if that didn't work out, i would add him to my own tribe, i have 3 poddies already ). Maybe we could sort something as it's not till January. Do you have transport arrangements to UK in place? Keep up the good work :-)
Regards
Chris

I so hope, for Caramello, that he will find his forever home. You are a star, Chris, for helping. Hey, 3 poddies - you need to send me the rehoming stories! Every story I publish broadcasts what fabulous companion dogs these are. Email me the stories on band@bbrennan.eu, plus pix of course. In the meantime, fingers crossed for this beautiful boy.

Chris, could you email me on galgosdelsol@hotmail.com . The other home believe that perhaps Caramello may be too big. He is approx 20kg. If you are still interested in helping this boy please contact me. He can travel in January!
