Hi Ann, It's unusual for Valerie not to respond, possibly she is away and not able to pick up emals. Try again. Or try Rick and Lesley Beauchamp who bring podencos over from SARA Protectora on Lanzarote. You'll find their contact details if you put Rick's name in the search on Podenco Post, as one of the first stories I posted was about his going to Lanzarote to bring back some podencos to the UK. Let me know if you have any more problems.
Otherwise you could try Galgos del Sol, they have podencos and after 1st January it will be much easier for them to travel to the UK. They are getting a home check arrangement in place for anyone wanting to adopt one of their podencos or galgos.
Good luck and thank you for caring about these wonderful dogs.

Ann, just wanted to add that my reply has been delayed because I too have been away with family in the UK and then last weekend my daughter was here. So I am only just catching up on everything since I went away on 28th September!
