This is little Emma, a Portuguese Podengo, looking for her forever home. Here's her story and videos.

I adopted a dog from portugal and thought she was just a street dog found by a charity so she is so pleased to realise that the she comes from a regal line called a maneto podengo ands she is ever so proud. I cannot believe how alike she is to some of the photos on this site. Lovely, and makes me feel so good as my bridget is such a lovely dog and please adopt one of these and you will never regret it. cheers, allan hopton 03.02.2018

Thank you for your comment, how lovely that you have a Podenco. So many people don't know that there are several types of Podenco and how much they differ in size and physique. I have a small Podenca Andaluz - they come in 3 sizes, small, medium and large...my little one weights 6.5 kg whereas the large ones can weigh 20! Then they come in different colours too, including black and black and white. Which is one of the reasons I wrote my book From Pyramid to Perrera, so people could learn about them. I hope you have many years of fun with your little Portuguese hound.

How TOTALLY gorgeous is she?! I have watched all the videos and she is just so sweet and lovely. I so hope she gets a home soon because whoever adopts her is really lucky.
